How I Leveled Up My Packaging Game with StickerDot
If you've ever ordered from me before, you'll know how much I care about your parcel — from what’s inside to how it’s wrapped up. The unboxing is part of the experience, and I want it to feel like a gift from me to you (and your dog, obviously).
So when StickerDot got in touch to send me some custom stickers, I jumped at the chance. I’ve always loved the look of a branded finish, but I’d been getting by with cheaper stickers and cutting them myself. I didn’t realise how much of a difference high-quality stickers would make until I actually used them.
What I Got
They sent me two designs:
A 3.5cm x 3.5cm kiss-cut circle with my purple paw print for sealing tissue paper
An 8cm x 4cm rectangular logo sticker for boxes and postage bags
Both styles arrived individually cut (no more trimming by hand — hallelujah), and the rectangle had an easy-peel backing with three paper splits which made packing orders way less fiddly.
First Impressions
There wasn’t a heap of branding in the parcel itself, but the packaging was tidy and secure — and the quality? Honestly, amazing. So much better than what I’ve used before. The print was crisp, the colours were bang-on, and the material felt premium.
How I’m Using Them
I’ve already used them on a few orders — the circle stickers go around the tissue paper inside, and the rectangle logo seals up boxes or postage bags on the outside. It's a small touch, but it makes everything look so pulled-together.
I especially love how the logo sticker sits now — no more awkward folds across my branding. The corgi sits proudly on the top of the box, and the text flows neatly beneath the fold. It’s clean, it’s cute, and it feels polished.
The Process
I designed the stickers myself, but StickerDot did send proofs before printing. The process was smooth, and I had great communication throughout. I will say, I ended up talking to three different people (accounts, design, and marketing), which was a bit clunky — but every single person was helpful, friendly, and made a good impression. It just would’ve been nice to deal with one contact from start to finish.
Why It Matters
I think packaging is part of the brand. Branded stickers add that little hit of elegance and excitement. When someone sees the parcel, they instantly know it’s from Pup and Running — and that builds connection and anticipation before they even open it.
Would I Order Again?
Hell yes. I’d absolutely order from StickerDot again. The quality is top-notch, they shipped fast, and the whole experience felt a bit luxe.
If you’re a small biz wondering whether it’s worth investing in custom stickers — I get it. It’s totally okay to start with a cheaper option. But when you're ready to level up your packaging and have a more seamless experience (plus stronger stickiness, in my opinion), then StickerDot is 100% worth it.
And if you’re like me and assumed their website meant $$$ — surprise. It’s not. For the quality and service, it’s actually really fair.
Check out StickerDot for high-quality, custom stickers that actually stick and make your brand look sharp. I’m seriously impressed — and I don’t say that lightly.
